Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal ultrasound program required.
• Registry eligible; prefer Registered Ultrasound Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and prepare patients.
• Interpret ultrasound results and maintain equipment.
• Schedule patients as necessary.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Ultrasound Technologist- Days

Posit i onH i gh li ghts:

• Position: Ultrasound Technologist
• Location: Skokie Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5 PM
• Call: 6-8 calls per month/ as needed
• Required Travel:Local- Gurnee, Vernon Hills, Highland park

What you will do :

• Perform ultrasound exam
• Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
• Interprets ultrasound
• Cleans and maintains equipment
• Schedules patients if necessary

What you will need :

• License: N/A
• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• Certification:CPR-BLS required. Completion offormal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
• Skills: N/A
