Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join the Radiology/Ultrasound team at Vancouver General Hospital. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating technical activities, and ensuring quality in imaging services.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of recent experience with supervisory capabilities, and certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS. Strong knowledge of PACS/RIS and evidence-based practice is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized training program in Medical Diagnostic Sonography.
• Certified with Sonography Canada or ARDMS or have passed Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
• Minimum four (4) years' recent, related experience with supervisory leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate technical and staffing activities of assigned area.
• Oversee quality of technical work, participate in recruitment and performance management, coach staff.
