Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a native Ukrainian-speaking tutor to conduct one-to-one lessons at the student’s home in Port Moody (V3H 5L2). This freelance, part-time role requires teaching experience and a valid work permit. Sessions are tailored for a beginner, with a focus on medical terminology for travel to Ukraine.

Ideal candidates live within 30 km of Port Moody and can start as soon as possible. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Be a native Ukrainian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of the specified location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one Ukrainian language lessons at the student's home in Port Moody.
• Adapt lessons to beginner level and medical vocabulary related to Ukraine travel.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to accommodate the student’s available times.

• Student's Motivation: Medical professional who is looking to travel to Ukraine to provide aid. Interested in learning medical terms.
