Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking two Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor positions for the Winter 2027 term in the EECS_ST unit of the Faculty of Engineering. These in-person roles support the course Analysis and Design of User Interfaces (SEG3125, Section A) at Main Campus.

Successful candidates will proctor exams, assist labs, tutor students, and mark projects, with emphasis on UI evaluation techniques and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, and React Native.

Qualifications

• Must be ready for an interview if considered.
• Experience leading group discussions on UI design.
• Knowledge of UI evaluation techniques and testing.

Responsibilities

• Exam proctoring, assist labs, tutoring, and project marking.
• Provide lab support and grading as required by the supervisor.
• Assist with in-person instruction and student help during labs.
