The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Engineering invites applications for three Teaching Assistant positions for ITI1121 Introduction to Computing II at the Main Campus. You will prepare and deliver weekly labs, support students by email, and supervise exams in person from January 2027 to April 2027.

Experience with Java and OO programming, strong English writing, and the ability to update labs in HTML are preferred.

Formación

• Must have completed this course or its equivalent with a mark of A or better.
• Attend TA workshop if necessary.
• Advanced experience of object oriented programming in Java.
• Excellent knowledge of implementing list, stack, queue and tree data structures.
• Good command of English writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and delivering weekly laboratories/tutorials, correcting assignments and related duties, weekly office hours and email support to students.
• Proctoring weekly midterms and final examinations.
• Help preparing and updating the course labs (in HTML) using the English versions as a basis.
