Kabam is seeking a User Interface Technical Designer to implement, animate, and optimize UI systems in the game engine. You will partner with UX designers and UI artists to translate layouts and visuals into functional, performant interfaces for mobile games.
Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver engaging interactions, set up UI feedback and animations, and contribute to tools and workflows that improve UI quality and performance.

As a User Interface Technical Designer, you are responsible for implementing, animating, and optimizing UI systems in the game engine. You partner with UX designers and UI artists to translate layouts, motion intent, and visual style into functional, performant, and player-facing UI. You ensure a high visual quality bar in the engine, manage UI performance and scalability, and use animation, scripting, and VFX to bring interfaces to life. You help define and maintain UI standards, pipelines, and technical workflows across the project.
$42 - $52 an hour
The typical hiring range listed above is specific to candidates located in Vancouver. Compensation will be determined based on your knowledge, skills and competencies.
