Join Our Team at SkyScouter

At SkyScouter , we build cutting-edge hybrid gas-powered drones built for endurance, range, and reliability. Our UAVs are designed to fly for hours at a time — crossing vast distances for environmental monitoring, border patrol, industrial inspection, emergency response, and beyond.

By combining gas-powered propulsion with intelligent automation, our drones redefine what’s possible in long-range, high-impact aerial missions — all at a fraction of the cost of traditional aircraft.

We’re looking for a UAV Technician to support our growing production and testing team. In this role, you’ll take an active part in assembling, maintaining, and flight-testing SkyScouter’s long-endurance drones. You’ll also contribute to the development of our next-generation aircraft systems.

This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and enjoys working on complex aerial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build drone systems from individual components to full aircraft
  • Assemble electronic circuits and wiring harnesses
  • Solder and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision
  • Test and inspect parts and subsystems to ensure full functionality
  • Offer feedback to engineering to streamline builds and improve reliability

Must-Have Skills

  • At least 3 years of hands-on soldering experience
  • Ability to work with fine-pitch microcontrollers and surface-mount components
  • Strong precision, focus, and an eye for detail

Bonus Skills

  • Experience assembling drones, RC vehicles, robotics, or aircraft
  • Exposure to flight testing or diagnostics in a tech or aviation setting

What We Provide

  • Career growth in one of the most in-demand tech sectors — UAVs and aerospace
  • A chance to be part of an industry revolution in hybrid drone operations
  • A collaborative, driven team environment where your work directly shapes the future
  • Competitive compensation and meaningful learning opportunities
