Job description

Job Description:

  1. Prepare daily reconciliations of trust accounts, investigate, and follow up on breaks.
  2. Prepare wire/EFT payments for trade settlement, invoice processing, etc.
  3. Prepare and confirm Fundserv (N$M) payments are processed successfully.
  4. Produce and deliver daily settlement reports to clients.
  5. Prepare and issue cheques for invoice processing, trade processing, and other payments.
  6. Any other reasonable duties as required by management/leadership.

Job Requirements:

  1. Completed high school diploma or one year of professional experience in financial services or transferrable work experience.
  2. Post-secondary education in any field or level.
  3. Intermediate Excel skills (example: sum columns, basic formulae, sorting, etc.).
  4. Clear and fluent communication skills (written, verbal).
  5. Comfortable with simple math calculations (example: averages, percentages, compound interest).
  6. Interest in financial services, business management, investments, etc.
  7. Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  8. Prior experience with Fundserv is considered an asset.
  9. Experience in processing payments, cash handling, wire transfers, EFT, reconciliation, and similar areas.
  10. Demonstrate strong and effective communication (written, verbal).
  11. Willingness to learn.
