Wesgar Inc. in Port Coquitlam, BC is seeking an experienced TRUMPF Laser Operator to join our production team.

You will set up and operate laser cutting equipment to produce prototype and production sheet metal parts, reading blueprints and travelers, and ensuring quality. This full-time, in-person role offers a graveyard shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with competitive pay and benefits; candidates must have hands-on laser cutting experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• MUST read blueprints, travelers and work instructions.
• Experience operating TRUMPF laser cutting equipment or similar CNC laser machinery.
• Familiar with calipers and tape measures for precise measurements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to quality.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate TRUMPF laser cutting equipment for production and prototype jobs.
• Read job travelers, setup sheets, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure specifications and quality.
• Identify machine, tooling, or quality issues and report or correct them.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lens/nozzle checks, and basic maintenance.
• Handle and stack sheet metal safely and maintain a clean work area.
