Job summary

Tri-Mach Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Laser Programmer - Operator to join our Advanced Millwrights division. You will interpret blueprints, design programs, and set up CNC laser cutting equipment to fabricate components per specification.

We value accuracy, safety, and teamwork, with a shift-based schedule including some weekends. The role requires 2+ years on Trumpf/Amada or similar machines and strong sheet metal experience. Compensation is hourly CAD 25.00–31.85.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience on Trumpf, Amada or similar CNC laser cutting machines (TruDisk/TruFlow preferred).
• Solid background working with sheet metal.
• Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance.
• Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other production equipment, or assist other operators.
• Set up lenses, load programs and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Monitor shield gases used during laser cutting.
• Prepare product for shipment and assist with material handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and contribute to team productivity.
