Job summary

Red River Forage, a family-run hay and straw business near Morris MB, is seeking a forward-thinking, energetic Truck & Transport mechanic to join the team immediately. The role requires diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment, with a focus on semi trucks and trailers, in collaboration with an experienced team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanical experience, familiarity with diesel equipment, and the ability to work long harvest hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of mechanical experience
• Experience working with diesel equipment (semi trucks, tractors, etc)
• Willing to work long hours during the harvest season
• Specialized yearly OEM training and other job-specific training provided
• Responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining all equipment (focus on semi trucks + trailers) with guidance from foreman

Red River Forage is a family run hay and straw business near Morris MB. We are looking for a forward thinking energetic experienced Truck & Transport mechanic to join our growing team starting immediately. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3+ years of mechanical experience, experience working with diesel equipment (semi trucks, tractors, etc), and willing to work long hours during the harvest season. The right applicant will receive specialized yearly OEM training and other training specific to the job. Applicant is expected to take responsibility for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining all equipment on the farm (with a focus on semi trucks + trailers) working alongside our current experienced team. Position is well supported by a shop foreman/service writer/parts person. Machinery is mostly newer equipment.

Job Description: Job will be focused on repairing and maintaining semi trucks/trailers and farm equipment. Focus will likely be on semi trucks/trailers with a wide variety of other work in between projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of mechanical experience
