Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in related mechanical/truck maintenance.
• On-site work with no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Maintain work areas.
• Keep record of work performed and location and condition of equipment.
• Clean work area.
• Test drive vehicles for proper handling.
