Job summary

Southern Industrial & Truck Ltd. is seeking experienced Service Technicians to service highway trucks and trailers.

You will perform routine maintenance, including battery checks and oil changes, and inspect critical systems such as brakes and steering to ensure safe operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions with diagnostic tools, test driving repaired vehicles, and replacing worn parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service technician working on highway trucks and trailers.
• Ability to diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot defective equipment.
• Familiarity with routine maintenance such as battery checks and oil changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings and steering mechanisms.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools and computers.
• Test drive vehicles to verify proper operation after service.
