Job summary

Ram Freight Solutions Ltd. is actively seeking reliable Truck Operators and Owner-Operators to join our growing team in Vaughan, Canada.

You will transport freight safely, meet delivery targets, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Owner-Operators must provide and maintain their own truck and required operating documentation, keeping logs and completing inspections to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class AZ commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Owner-Operators must own or lease a well-maintained commercial truck.
• Excellent route planning skills to ensure on-time deliveries and fuel efficiency.
• Commitment to conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections with prompt defect reporting.
• Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly delivery targets and performance goals.
• Comply with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage reports.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to ensure safe transportation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and handoffs.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
• Represent Ram Freight Solutions in a professional manner at all times.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude by accepting feedback and continuously improving performance.
• Follow assigned routes and operational plans while supporting company growth objectives.
• Owner-Operators: Maintain your own truck, insurance, licensing, and vehicle maintenance in accordance with provincial and federal regulations.

Experience/Qualifications
