Job summary

Dhilmar is seeking a truck operator to transport ore both underground and on the surface at Eleonore mine site. The role operates on a 14-day shift pattern and requires compliance with health and safety policies, along with holding an explosives permit and a valid driver’s license.

Fly‑in, fly‑out from multiple cities including Montreal and Rouyn‑Noranda supports the 14/14 schedule, with responsibilities that include following regulations and performing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional Studies Diploma in ore extraction.
• Minimum of one year of experience.
• Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7.
• General explosives permit and valid driver’s license.
• Bilingualism French/English is an asset.

About the role

Truck operator is part of the mining operations team. The incumbent ensures the transportation

of ore to the surface.

Essential Duties

• Ensure the transportation of ore underground and on the surface
• Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to the health and safety
• All other related tasks

Training & Experience

• Professional Studies Diploma in ore extraction
• Minimum of one year of experience
• Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7
• General explosives permit and valid driver’s license
• Bilingualism French/English is an asset

Working Conditions

• Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
• Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
