Job summary

CANADIAN ROYALTIES INC. in Salluit, Nunavik, QC, is seeking a permanent Miner U/G class 1 - Extraction (Scoop) operator. The position follows a 6-week rotation: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week) and 3 weeks rest, with duties including loading trucks and remote-mode shuttle loading.

Qualifications

The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Responsibilities

The main role of a mechanized shuttle loader (Scoop) operator is to perform extraction in production sites and development galleries as well as loading trucks. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operating the shuttle loader in remote mode.
• Installation of a remote-controlled operating platform.
• Taking ore samples.
• Operating a production truck.
• Performing related tasks as per operational needs.

Qualifications
