Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Ottawa is seeking responsible, detail-oriented auto technicians to perform standard and complex repairs, including warranty work, across a range of makes and models.

You will diagnose engines, transmissions, electrical systems, A/C and onboard computers, and may mentor junior technicians in the shop. A high school diploma/equivalent and 310T certification are required, along with a valid license and personal tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 310T Truck Mechanic certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
• Must possess all tools required for auto repair and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry) are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex auto repairs, including warranty work, on diverse makes/models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, A/C and computer systems.
• Serve as technical expert to junior technicians in the shop.
