Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an automotive technician for our Goffs, Nova Scotia fleet maintenance shop. You will perform preventative maintenance on our vehicles, including oil changes, fluid tops, tire rotations, and basic repairs, with safety as a priority.

Experience is preferred, but on‑the‑job training is provided to expand your automotive skills. Requirements include a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, ability to work in a busy shop with moderate to loud noise, and basic

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 6+ months auto maintenance experience is a bonus.
• Willingness to work in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on our auto fleet, including oil, fluids, tire changes, and rotations.
• Assist our experienced auto mechanics with repairs as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.
