Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an automotive maintenance role in Nova Scotia. You will perform preventive maintenance on a fleet, including oil changes, tire rotations and basic repairs as needed.

The position may involve assisting seasoned mechanics and requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work evenings and weekends. Bi-weekly pay, on-the-job training to expand automotive skills, and employee discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months auto maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Willingness to work in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise.
• Basic computer skills including typing and data entry.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekend shifts.

What You’ll Do:

You will perform preventative maintenance functions on our auto fleet of vehicles. This includes oil, fluid, tire changes, repairs and rotations in a safe manner. Depending on your experience, you may be assigned basic repairs or assist our experienced auto mechanics.
