Dooley’s Trucking is seeking a dependable truck driver for local deliveries in Newfoundland and Labrador. The role involves operating straight and articulated trucks, loading/unloading cargo, and coordinating with dispatch on daily routes.

Applicants should possess a Class 3/3F/DF licence; experience is an asset, and a strong commitment to safety and reliable service is essential. Overtime is available and a permanent, full-time position awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• No degree required; Class 3/3F/DF Licence for trailer trucks (more than 3 axles)
• Experience is an asset
• Local driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and transport goods by road
• Load and unload goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Drive and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Tasks
