Job summary

Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. in Red Deer (Alberta) is seeking an experienced truck driver to join our on-site transport team. You will load and unload goods, operate flatbed trucks, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a busy, urban-warehouse environment.

Candidates must have a valid Class 3/3F/DF licence with Air Brakes endorsement, be bondable, and comfortable with physically demanding work, including loading heavy loads and long hours at sites across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Valid Class 3/3F/DF licence with Air Brakes endorsement is required.
• High emphasis on reliability, teamwork and safety.
• On-site work across multiple locations with physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive flatbed trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle; inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and communicate with central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarp goods and ensure safety and security of cargo.
