Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport, deliver, and retrieve construction equipment between the branch and customer job sites
• Operate a large commercial vehicle in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage or safety hazards during transport
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Promote professionalism and a strong customer service attitude in every interaction
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, branch staff, and customers regarding delivery status

Job Purpose

Herc Rentals is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to transport construction equipment between our branch and local job sites. This role plays a key part in ensuring our customers receive their equipment safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

What you will do...

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of general truck driving experience

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) as required by role/state

Type: Replacement

Pay Range:$28 - $32 per hour + Benefits + 3 weeks vacation
