Job summary

JIND BATH TRUCKING LTD in Canada is seeking a licensed truck driver to operate and transport goods. The role requires driving straight or articulated trucks, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring cargo safety at all times.

Starts as soon as possible with permanent, full-time employment. On-site work with 40–50 hours per week and CAD 38 per hour. Driver's license (Class 1 or A) is required.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience an asset.
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
