Job summary

SE7EN SYSTEM INC. is seeking a professional truck driver to operate on the road across various locations in Canada. The role offers a permanent full-time position with an hourly wage of 30.20 CAD and a 40–60 hour work week, with frequent travel.

The successful candidate will hold a Class 1/1F/A licence with Air Brake endorsement, be able to work in a two-person team, perform vehicle inspections, cargo handling, and comply with international route requirements.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) required.
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Obtain special permits and other documents for international routes
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Education
