Job summary

Creekstone Logistics Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to join our Calgary team. The role involves safely operating tractor-trailer units, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, and ensuring accurate deliveries to assigned locations in Alberta.

You will verify orders, maintain daily driver logs, interact with dispatch and customers, and comply with DOT regulations. This full-time position starts as soon as possible with two vacancies.

Qualifications

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience in trucking is an asset.
  • Wage is $36.00 per hour and job type is permanent/full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre/post-trip truck inspections for safety and compliance.
  • Safely transport goods to designated locations in a set sequence.
  • Verify order accuracy prior to delivery and complete required paperwork.
  • Log daily driver records and receipts; interact with dispatch and customers.
  • Operate tractor-trailer and comply with DOT/NSC regulations.

Job Duties
  • Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
  • Safely transporting the product to and from a specified location in a pre-determined sequence.
  • Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery.
  • Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.).
  • Following all recommended operating procedures.
  • Interacting with customers, dispatch, other drivers, and warehouse personnel.
  • Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations.
  • Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically.
  • Operate and drive a tractor-trailer, long-combination vehicle.
