Job summary

TSD Trucking Inc is seeking a long-haul driver to operate straight or articulated trucks on Canadian routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, monitor cargo, and keep records of hours, mileage and fuel usage to ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements include a secondary school certificate, 1–2 years of experience, English proficiency, and valid work status in Canada. Location: Surrey, BC; hours 40–50 weekly at $35/hour. Permanent, full-time with five vacancies.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of driving experience.
• English language proficiency.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, storage and other equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarpaulin and ensure safety and security of cargo.
