Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Brampton, ON is seeking a responsible driver to join our on-site team.

You will load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods, and oversee vehicle condition, tires, lights, and brakes. You will perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections, ensure safety and compliance, record cargo information and hours of service, and relay information to central dispatch.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of driving experience.
  • Experience operating straight or articulated trucks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
