Job summary

ANANT TRUCKING LTD. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team and help coordinate shipments, maintain records, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will dispatch drivers according to schedules and work orders, track fuel and mileage, ensure compliance with trucking regulations, and support office duties as needed. English fluency and a high school diploma are required; prior driver dispatch experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in dispatching or logistics is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work records and logs for dispatch operations.
• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
• Keep track of shipments, mileage, fuel use, and expenses.
• Provide excellent customer service and coordinate with drivers.
• Coordinate office duties and ensure timely information flow.
• Ensure compliance with highway trucking rules and regulations.
• Transmit information to vehicle operators and crews using dispatch tools.
