JOB DESCRIPTIONWesdome Gold Mines is seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our maintenance team at the Eagle River Mine. This role is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty mobile equipment including haul trucks, service vehicles, and surface fleet vehicles. The successful candidate will contribute to safe and efficient operations in a dynamic mining environment. RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES PERFORMED Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on surface equipment such as haul trucks, service trucks, and utility vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and braking systems
• Conduct inspections and maintain detailed service records in compliance with safety regulations and mine standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize equipment servicing and minimize downtime
• Follow all health and safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement of safety practices
• Operate lifting and hoisting equipment as required to perform job duties

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification or Qualified Apprentice (required)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining heavy-duty vehicles or mining equipment
• Experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Ontario driver’s license (Class G minimum)
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental standards Working underground is mandatory.
• Mine Common Core Certification is an asset.
