Job Summary:

Serves as primary customer contact to promote quality customer service and increase business within the branch location.

We are looking for a talented Truck & Bus Service Administrator to join our Distribution business in (Mississauga, ON).
This job is NOT unionized

Will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and building strong customer relationships.
  • Open and manage work orders, prepare quotes, repair plans, and service documentation.
  • Coordinate with Service Supervisors, Team Leads, technicians, and customers to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion.
  • Review customer concerns, explain repairs and charges, and assist with warranty-related questions.
  • Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and service records using service management systems.
  • Support service operations by monitoring workflow, customer satisfaction, and productivity goals.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Service Coordinator, or similar customer-facing service role.
  • Experience supporting truck, fleet, heavy equipment, diesel, or industrial service environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of repair processes with the ability to communicate technical information to customers.
  • Experience preparing estimates, managing repair orders, coordinating with technicians, and providing customer updates.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Experience with service management software, warranty processes, and repair documentation is an asset.
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in a similar customer-facing role within a dealership, OEM, or independent repair facility supporting commercial trucks, buses, or other vocational vehicles is considered a strong asset.
  • Solid understanding of truck and/or bus maintenance and repair processes, with the ability to communicate technical information and repair recommendations clearly and professionally to customers.
  • Experience preparing estimates, opening and managing repair orders, coordinating with technicians, and providing timely updates throughout the repair process.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced service environment.
  • A customer-first mindset with a genuine interest in delivering an exceptional service experience while building strong, long-term relationships with commercial fleet customers.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and service management software, along with the ability to quickly learn new applications and processes.
  • Experience working with diesel engines, Cummins products, or warranty administration is considered an asset, but not required.
  • This position follows a 4x10 work schedule , with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday . Employees work four days each week, with one scheduled weekday off on a rotating basis.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Technical trade school/ vocational diploma or certification or equivalent experience required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant and/or in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training.
