Job summary

IPRO TRUCK REPAIR CENTRE in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a hands-on truck technician to examine, repair, and maintain commercial transport truck systems. You will diagnose faults, discuss work with supervisors, and perform repairs or replacements to meet manufacturer specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 7 months to under 1 year of relevant experience, with on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
• Discuss work with supervisor.
• Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Review work orders.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service.
