Job summary

Munich Re Group in Toronto is seeking a Business Analyst & Treaty Underwriter to join our team. You will underwrite treaty business, provide pricing support, and work with IT to improve systems.

You will build Power BI dashboards, analyze data, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the organization. A bachelor's degree and up to 3 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer ability and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power BI.
• Knowledge of programming languages preferred (SQL, Python, R or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Underwrites Treaty business in accordance with guidelines and within authority.
• Provides pricing, cat modelling and other analysis to support treaty business.
• Develops tools and dashboards to extract information for business units.
• Develops and maintains process, systems and data flow documentation.
• Coordinates data systems and workflows with IT platforms and Shared Services.
