Job summary

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Treasury Associate to process high‑volume payments in multiple currencies, reconcile bank statements, and prepare journal entries. You will collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Risk, AML, Tax, and Finance to resolve issues and support management reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in treasury or banking operations, strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, and knowledge of Kyriba.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the financial services or brokerage industry.
• Strong background in bank account management, banking operations, or finance.
• Ability to collaborate with Legal, AML, Tax, and Finance teams.
• Independent worker with analytical thinking and research skills.
• Understanding of banking operations, products, services and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Proficient in Excel & Google Sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Motivated, proactive, able to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of Kyriba or similar treasury tools; Bloomberg a plus.
• CSC and CPH completion is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Processing high-volume payments in multiple currencies to vendors and clients.
• Reconcile daily bank statements against the GL and clearing accounts; ensure collateral requirements.
• Review deposits for discrepancies, confirm trades, and resolve client inquiries with internal teams.
• Prepare journal entries for daily fund movements and support management reporting.
• Monitor and resolve client cases via the INH pod; collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, AML, Tax, and Finance.
• Support treasury projects, process improvements, and policy/procedure updates.
