LeverageTek is actively seeking a Treasury Analyst for an opportunity for a 6 month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Remote

Key Tasks

• Assist with the implementation and setup of Diapason, including system configuration, data entry, and testing.
• Support the transition to a new corporate banking partner, including account setup, documentation, and internal coordination.
• Analyze daily cash positions, cash flow forecasts, and bank reconciliations.
• Help improve internal treasury processes, ensuring alignment with Oracle system integration.
• Provide analytical support for cash flow projections, bank fees, and funding requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date treasury records, reports, and documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams (finance, IT, accounting) and external banking partners as needed.
• Identify and troubleshoot system / process issues to support a smooth transition.

Key Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience in treasury or financial analysis, a strong grasp of cash flow management, forecasting, and financial systems
• Must have experience with treasury management systems (e.g., Diapason) or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Experience with improving internal treasury processes, ensuring alignment with Oracle system integration.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in treasury, financial analysis, or a related finance function.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent Excel skills (advanced formulas, modeling, etc.) and comfort with financial systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.

Assets :

• Exposure to system implementations, process improvement initiatives, or banking transitions.
• Familiarity with payment platforms and banking portals.
