We are currently seeking a high performing individual in the role of Treasury Accountant. Reporting to the Manager, Treasury Accounting, the candidate will be a self-starter, critical thinker, effective communicator and possess strong technical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance various demands in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

1. Accountable for accurate and timely month end journal entries, reconciliation, analysis and reporting on our bank accounts, debt and derivative portfolios.
2. Work collaboratively with other teams on accounting and reconciliation matters.
3. Prepare reports and analysis to support quarterly audit requirements.
4. Work collaboratively with Cash Management team on various cash and deposit tasks.
5. Provide support to the business and operations on Cash related inquiries.
6. Participate and support special projects as required.
7. Identify opportunities for process simplification.
8. Other JE’s, analysis and duties as assigned.

What you'll have:

1. Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience.
2. Intermediate to advanced excel skills a must.
3. Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
4. Accounting designation or equivalent experience preferred.
5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Thrives in a collaborative, team focused environment; is adaptive and enthusiastic about ongoing change to workflows and assigned tasks.
7. Positive “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
