Job summary

RBC is seeking a customer‑focused Banking Advisor in Sept-Îles to engage clients, educate them on digital banking, and drive branch sales. You will respond to inquiries, process a range of transactions, and refer opportunities to specialists as needed.

Travel between RBC locations is required, and success depends on building strong client relationships, delivering trusted advice, and contributing to client satisfaction and loyalty in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation or willingness to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
• Proven passion for putting clients first and success in a target-driven sales environment
• Strong problem-solving and people skills with the ability to build relationships
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, ethics, and hunger for success
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs and opportunities
• Educate clients using digital tools to deliver memorable experiences and drive sales
• Assist with a full range of financial transactions and respond to client inquiries
• Listen actively to understand individual client needs and goals
• Resolve and prevent banking problems while maintaining client satisfaction
• Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize referrals
