Job summary

Transat is seeking a Travel Advisor who collaborates with the Sales Manager to deliver exceptional travel planning services and build strong client relationships. You will contribute to sales and revenue goals while offering personalized advice and solutions for memorable travel experiences.

The role requires a proactive, tech-savvy professional with strong networking skills, ability to manage end-to-end travel needs, and flexibility to work outside regular hours for events and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid TICO certificate in Ontario and OPC certificate in Quebec.
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a retail environment; Travel Industry Experience preferred.
• Outgoing and energetic with expert networking and social media skills.
• Advanced communication skills with ability to influence through sales and prospecting techniques.
• Organized to manage clients travel needs pre-travel, in destination and post travel.
• Tech savvy and able to learn new software quickly.
• Flexible schedule to attend trade shows and events or complete tasks outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Meet established monthly and yearly sales and revenue targets.
• Advise clients on travel options offered by our various partners.
• Network and promote new travel business and grow repeat client base.
• Quickly determine client needs and source solutions using available tools.
• Sell travel packages across product categories including complex itineraries using Apollo and Sirev.
• Adapt services to client needs amid changing trends and circumstances.
