Job summary

Dialogue, Canada's leading virtual care provider, urgently seeks a Trauma Intervention Responder to deploy in critical incidents and support employees. The role works closely with the Trauma Coordinator in delivering immediate, on-call trauma support to our clients' teams across Canada.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in psychology, social work, criminology, or related field, possesses a valid practice license, and has liability insurance.

Qualifications

• University degree in psychology, social work, criminology, or related field.
• A license to practice issued by a professional association.
• Liability insurance required.
• Strong knowledge of psychological care in trauma contexts and experience in crisis and emergency management.
• Punctual and flexible schedule; interventions mainly during day/work week.
• Vehicle access for transportation.
• Experience with group interventions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sound theoretical knowledge of acute stress and PTSD.
• Intervene in crisis and post-traumatic situations.
• Intervene easily with employees and managers.
• Share a clinical summary of interventions performed.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Trauma Coordinator.

What you'll be doing

• Very good knowledge of psychological care in a trauma context and experience in crisis and emergency management
• You are very punctual and flexible in your schedule. Most of our interventions are during the day and during the work week.
• You have access to a vehicle for transportation
• You have expertise in group intervention
