Fraser Health Authority is seeking an experienced clinician to support youth mental health and substance use services across Fraser Salish. The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, client-centered care and coordinated care across local and regional teams.

You will conduct screenings, assessments and treatment planning, and may provide therapy and case management with an emphasis on rapid re-engagement in services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an applicable social or health sciences program (e.g., Counselling Psychology or Social Work).
• Experience with youth mental health or substance use settings is required or equivalent.
• Eligible for registration with relevant professional association.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial screening of referrals to determine appropriate treatment.
• Assess client needs and determine priority of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide short-term interventions, follow-up and outcome evaluation.
• Deliver individual and group therapy; develop and implement recovery-oriented treatment plans.
• Advocate for clients and coordinate with community resources to improve access to services.
• Maintain client records in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop educational sessions and provide training to clients, families and caregivers.
