Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a clinician to support youth with mental health and substance use needs. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, client-centered practices, and coordinating across local and regional services to re-engage clients in care.

You will perform screening, assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up, while liaising with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to improve access and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social or health sciences or related field.
• 1 year recent, related experience with youth in mental health or substance use; or 2 years with concurrent disorders.
• Valid B.C. Driver's License and access to a vehicle for work.
• Trauma-informed, evidence-informed practice with client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial screening of referrals to determine appropriate treatment.
• Assesses client needs with the interdisciplinary team and determines priority of care.
• Provides short-term counseling, follow-up, and monitors treatment outcomes.
• Delivers individual and group therapy; develops recovery-oriented plans.
• Facilitates access to community resources and coordinates referrals.
