Job summary

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a Patient Concerns Consultant to help patients, families, staff, and leaders resolve concerns about care and services. You will work under the PCRP, ensuring fair, respectful, and prompt resolution while collaborating with leaders and participating in meetings and quality reviews.

The role requires strong de-escalation, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in health care or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible clinical experience in a large, complex health system.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient concerns across adult, pediatrics, and senior populations with high sensitivity.
• Collaborate with operational, medical, and senior leaders to coordinate reviews and resolutions.
• Attend family conferences and quality reviews as part of the resolution process.
