Job summary

Youthdale Treatment Centres is seeking a part-time Crisis Support Worker to provide trauma-informed crisis intervention for children, youth, families, caregivers, and professionals at the Toronto location. You will work within a unified Crisis Support TEAM and report to the Manager, Intake, Crisis and Outpatient Services.

The role requires a college diploma or degree in child and youth work or related field, and flexibility to cover evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• A college diploma or university degree in child and youth work or a relevant field is required.
• Experience in mental health/crisis settings preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and assess urgency.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support.
• Develop safety plans with youth and caregivers.
• Coordinate intake, triage, and referrals.
• Document interactions and maintain confidentiality.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
