Qualifications

• Approximately one year of experience within Mental Health is required.
• Current and valid First Aid/CPR Level C certificate.
• Familiarity with working with children/youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and engagement skills.
• Ability to work with children/youth and families in a culturally sensitive manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide behaviour management, intervention, and treatment within a school setting.
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Therapists to assist the client in achieving their treatment goals.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment through consistent and supportive structure.
• Develop and implement individual goals and treatment plans.
