ROLE: Operations Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation

LOCATION: Red Deer, AB

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Transportation Team! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that equipment is operational and available, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and leading the development of a strong team of drivers. This includes offering advice, guidance, and support to help subordinates grow professionally. The ideal candidate will take a proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving while creating a productive and supportive work environment for all team members.

Experience

• You have at least 5 years of experience working in a supervisory or managerial role in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• You have experience working with a unionized environment.

Nice-to-Have

• You have experience working in food grade hauling
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and the ability to leverage these tools for improving efficiency and performance.
