Job summary

OPENLANE in Canada is seeking a Casual Driver to support our transportation team. You will safely deliver and pick up vehicles and input trip data using the Draiver app and ride-share integrations.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license with a clean record, adaptability to weather, and occasional Saturday availability.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and pick up vehicles for transport.

• Ensure vehicle safety: tires, fuel, lights, brakes per safety check.
• Assist with vehicle prep such as fluids and fueling when needed.

You Will:

• Safely deliver and pick up vehicles, ensuring secure and timely transportation.

• Contribute to a positive team environment, utilizing effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Use and Navigate through and accurately input data using Draiver app pre/post delivery including utilizing Uber or other Ride Share.

• Ensure that the vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes using our pre-trip safety process.

• Assist with boosting vehicles, checking fluids, airing up tires, and fueling vehicles as needed for transportation.

You Have:

• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license ( manual driving capability ) with a clean record.

• Adaptability to work in different weather; occasional need to remove snow from vehicles for inclement weather, operate in the rain, and other weather conditions.

• Proficiency in driving a wide range of vehicle brands and models.

• Occasionally available to work Saturdays depending on business needs.
