Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited, based in Kingston or Ottawa, is seeking a Structural Engineering Graduate to join the Transportation Structures team. The role covers preliminary and detailed design for bridges and culverts on MTO and municipal projects, with a hybrid work arrangement.

The position requires a civil or structural engineering degree (Master's favored) and 0–2 years of consulting experience. You will support project design, site investigations, risk assessments, and contract

Qualifications

• A degree in civil or structural engineering. A Master’s degree in structural engineering will be considered an asset.
• One to two years’ work experience with exposure to consulting is considered an asset, however, new graduates will be considered

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers on structural and multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare structural designs including buildings, bridges, culverts, and marine design.
• Perform design calculations and prepare technical specifications.
• Support site investigations and risk assessments.
• Assist with contract administration tasks including construction observation and reviews.
• Contribute to business development activities and client proposals.
