Job summary

Ontario Health is seeking a Manager, Transplant Services to lead organ-specific programs and drive policy development to improve transplant services across the province.

You will manage project planning, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, mentor analysts, and champion equitable access while aligning with organizational priorities and provincial health objectives.

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in a related field, with a master’s preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) years of direct work experience in a health care related environment with an understanding of program management and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience leading, developing, and supporting teams through projects, programs, and/or direct people leadership is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management; able to apply project management methodology to program enhancement/implementation and develop project plans/resource allocation.
  • Strong ability to forecast impact of decisions/solutions/new program and to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and coordinate organ transplant program portfolios and initiatives.
  • Direct project planning, monitor progress, and adapt to changes in scope.
  • Supervise project analysts and ensure quality deliverables and policy standardization.
  • Develop and implement tools and best practices for policy execution.
  • Collaborate with Directors and Senior Management to align projects with organizational goals.
