Job summary

Ontario Health is seeking a Director, Transplant Services to lead Ontario’s provincial transplant network, oversee the 24/7/365 operation, organ allocation and recovery coordination, and drive system-wide initiatives that improve outcomes and equity.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with 10+ years in healthcare leadership (nursing degree with registration preferred), strong policy, budgeting and stakeholder engagement skills, and a track record of delivering transformational change in

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 10+ years in healthcare leadership.
  • Nursing degree with current Ontario registration.
  • Experience in 24/7 patient care operations preferred.
  • Strong budgeting, strategy and policy development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements transplant strategy and annual plans.
  • Oversees day-to-day transplant operations and budgets.
  • Leads stakeholder engagement with ministry, hospitals and ORNGE.
  • Drives policy development and system improvements in transplantation.
