Job summary

Orennia invites an Associate on our Transmission team to deliver advanced transmission analytics supporting critical capital allocation decisions. You will work with a talented team to build next-generation transmission tools providing scalable insights across North America.

You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, uncover opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that drive real-world impact in a rapidly evolving energy sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
Electrical or Power Systems Engineering preferred.
1+ year of transmission power flow analysis experience.
Familiarity with PSS/E, PSS/MUST, PSLF, or PowerWorld is a plus.
Strong analytical and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Perform transmission power flow studies that support investment decisions worth millions.
Lead or contribute to interconnection and transmission studies from analysis to delivery.
Partner with software and product teams to shape the transmission platform.
Create data-driven insights and thought leadership on the evolving grid.
Work with clients to deliver actionable transmission analytics and customized solutions.
Present study findings and recommendations through reports and client discussions.
