Job summary

Detect is seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team and help transform utility inspection imagery into actionable grid insights. You will manage our services inventory, produce in-depth operational reports, and annotate imagery to pinpoint issues for remediation by the grid reliability team.

You will verify data quality, collaborate with colleagues to enhance analysis workflows, and contribute to tooling improvements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education completed.
• High accuracy and consistency in outputs.
• Comfortable using specialized software for data analysis.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools.
• Knowledge of powerline systems is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain an accurate services inventory.
• Provide detailed utility operational reports.
• Annotate powerline inspection imagery to identify issues.
• Review and verify annotated data for quality and consistency.
• Identify discrepancies in collected data.
